Every slide goes through rigorous incoming and outgoing inspections to document your slide before and after we work on it.
Incoming Inspection
When your components arrive, we conduct a thorough inspection before any work begins. This establishes a clear baseline of your slide's condition and verifies compatibility with your requested services.
What We Check:
Finish condition and any pre-existing wear or damage
Structural integrity and component authenticity
Optic compatibility and test-fitting (if you included your optic)
Pre-existing modifications and their compatibility with requested services
Overall readiness for machining, engraving, and finishing
We photograph all components immediately after unpacking your shipment. Your slide must pass incoming inspection before work begins. These photos are included in your Slide Received email when your components clear inspection.
If we identify any issues, such as incompatibility with requested services or unexpected damage, we'll contact you with findings and recommendations before proceeding.
Outgoing Inspection
After all work is complete, your slide goes through final outgoing inspection before shipping back to you. This is our quality gate—nothing ships until it passes.
What We Check:
Dimensional accuracy and tolerances
Finish quality and uniformity across all surfaces
All requested services completed to specification
Optic fit, function, and secure mounting (if you included your optic)
Cleanliness, with no burrs or sharp edges
Overall readiness for reassembly and use
We photograph all components immediately before repacking for return. Your slide must pass outgoing inspection before we ship it back. These photos are included in your Complete email when your slide clears final inspection.
This two-stage process gives you clear before-and-after documentation, holds us accountable to our precision standards, and ensures you receive exactly what you ordered.
