Processing Times
Processing time is how long we spend machining, engraving, and finishing your slide at our facility. It starts when your components arrive (not the date of purchase) and ends when we drop them off at the post office.
We offer two processing speeds:
3-Week Standard Processing: The default option.
3-Day Rush Processing: Fastest processing for urgent orders.
If we don't meet your chosen processing window, you will get a $25 refund.
Processing time does not include shipping transit time to or from our facility. Your total turnaround is your selected processing tier plus shipping each way.
If we discover any issues during incoming inspection that may affect processing, we'll notify you with our findings and recommendations before proceeding. The clock pauses while we wait for your response and resumes once you confirm how to proceed.
Status Updates
ModMount is built on transparency. We keep you informed with detailed email updates at every milestone so you always know where your slide is in the process.
Here's what you'll receive:
Order Confirmation: Sent immediately after checkout. Includes your order summary, prepaid shipping label, and packing instructions.
Slide Received: Sent when your components pass incoming inspection. Includes photos of your slide and optic as they arrived, documenting their baseline condition before we begin work.
In Progress: Sent when machining begins on your build. Includes photos of your work in process so you can see exactly what we're doing.
Complete: Sent when your slide passes final outgoing inspection. Includes photos of your finished slide after all work is complete and quality-checked.
Shipped: Sent when your slide is dropped off at USPS. Includes tracking information so you can monitor delivery.
These milestone updates with progress photos set ModMount apart. You see your slide at incoming inspection, during the work, and at final inspection before it ships back to you.
