Understanding the Program
ModMount's affiliate program pays you to recommend our slide customization services to your audience. You earn a percentage of every order from customers who use your unique coupon code.
Starter Plan: 10% referral commission
Pro Plan: 25% referral commission
Partner Plan: 50% referral commission
Example: A customer orders four Glock 19 optic cuts for $400 (before shipping, processing, and taxes). On the Starter plan you earn $40. On the Pro plan you earn $100. On the Partner plan you earn $200.

Beyond direct commissions, you can recruit other affiliates and earn up to 10% on their customer referrals. See the Recruiting Revenue Share article for full details.
Application Requirements
Before applying, confirm you meet these requirements:
Active presence in the firearms industry (instructor, content creator, range owner, gunsmith, retailer, or similar)
Established audience or customer base (social media, email list, in-person classes, retail traffic, etc.)
Ability to recommend ModMount services honestly to customers who need slide customization
Based in the U.S. for tax and payment purposes
After submitting your application, you will be automatically redirected to schedule your onboarding call using our calendar tool.
Applications are typically reviewed and approved in under 24 hours.
Approval Process and Timeline
Once you submit your application and schedule a tentative onboarding call slot, ModMount reviews your application. If approved (typically within a few hours), you receive a confirmation email with:
Approval notification
Confirmation of your scheduled onboarding call
Google Meet link for the call
Checklist of what to bring to the call
Prepare for Your Onboarding Call
Your onboarding call is where you finalize setup and activate your account.
Bring these items to the call:
Completed W-9 form (required for U.S. tax reporting)
Bank account info for monthly payout transfers (routing and account numbers)
Questions about the Affiliate Agreement
Decision on Pro Plan vs Partner Plan (see Commission Structure article if unsure)
If purchasing White-Label Order Form: your brand colors, logo file, and preferred domain for embedding
What happens on the call:
Walk through the Affiliate Agreement and answer your questions
Select your plan (Pro or Partner)
ModMount creates your ThriveCart affiliate account
Together, you choose your permanent coupon code
Set up your bank account for monthly payout transfers
Complete checkout for your chosen plan during the call
Share proven referral tactics and best practices
The call typically takes 30–45 minutes.
How Your Coupon Code Works
Your coupon code is how ModMount tracks which customers you referred. When a customer applies your code at checkout, the system attributes that order to you and calculates your commission.
Key attribution rules:
Customer must apply your coupon code before completing checkout
Only one coupon code allowed per order (first code applied wins)
No retroactive attribution (if customer forgets code, commission cannot be added later)
Code is permanent and cannot be changed after onboarding
Your code will typically be based on your business name or personal brand (e.g., SMITHTACTICAL, INSTRUCTOR10, RANGEPRO). We will finalize it together during the call.
Access Your Dashboard
During your onboarding call, ModMount creates your ThriveCart affiliate account. After the call, you can log in at any time to:
View real-time commission earnings
Track current referral count
Download payment statements
Update contact information
ThriveCart will send you login credentials via email after account creation. Bookmark the login page and check your dashboard regularly to monitor performance.
